A good day for incumbents. Republican Craig Thomas held the Senate.

And perhaps surprisingly in the conservative Cowboy State, Dave Freudenthal - a Democrat - kept his post as governor.

Although Republican Barbara Cubin is thought to have had a bad campaign, she is also on track to hold on to Wyoming's sole House district.

Incumbent Republican Craig Thomas beat Democrat Dale Groutage. Wyoming's other Senate seat is held by Republican Mike Enzi.
