Former Republican Congressman Butch Otter won the race to replace Governor Dirk Kempthorne, who is departing to become the president's secretary of the interior.
In the first House race, Mr Otter's replacement Bill Sali saw off a challenge from a strong Democratic challenger. The incumbent in the 2nd House race, Republican Mike Simpson, also won.
There is no Senate race this year. Republicans Larry Craig and Mike Crapo hold the seats.
