The country is still backward. The government doesn't know the people's real problems: employment and housing. It's apartheid in reverse. They said it would be a new nation, but the Indian community is still in the middle.

From my point of view as an Indian, there has been no change. The best thing they did was to take away the death penalty. The crime rate hasn't dropped - I saw a guy mugged right here. And look at Aids with the world's highest infection rate. The government is all talk and no action.
