South Africa: Race

I was 17 in 1994 and was disappointed to have missed out on voting. Everyone was so happy to vote after years and years of being denied.

The transformation hasn't gone far enough. Education is vital and should be free.

For true reconciliation and healing to take place people need to meet their former foes. Black South Africans seem keen to reconcile but whites aren't so interested. I love being a South African and am optimistic about the future.
