I am happy, happy, happy: it's a miracle to see again.

I can't repay the people who've helped me but God will bless them.

This is my 11-month-old great niece, Maman, who I have often held but had never seen before.

I will also be able to visit my friends again. When I had the cataract, I could only visit people who lived nearby.

It was very lonely to be blind.
