Photo Journal: Senegalese blind woman

Baaba Maal, with me on the right, is one of Senegal's best loved singers.

His best friend Mansour Seck, another well-known singer, is blind and so Baaba takes a keen interest in blind people.

He sings about many of this country's problems and said he may write a song about blindness next.

I've heard him singing on the radio. If he was older, I might even dance with him.
