DESCRIPTION: North East Scotland
Some of the most interesting battlegrounds of this election are in the North East, with Labour potentially under pressure at constituency level in a number of seats. Labour, the Scottish National Party and the Lib Dems all hold seats here, with the Conservatives and the SNP carving up the list between them. Marginals in Aberdeen and Dundee may affect the final arithmetic. The main interest outside the mainstream may well be the challenge of the Fishermen's Party, set up to campaign against recent cuts in the industry.
