A record 108 Scottish restaurants have made it into the UK's top guide to the best places to eat.
The Good Food Guide 2010 contains eight new Scottish entries including The Dogs in Edinburgh, which won the award for Best Value for Money restaurant.
Four Scottish eateries made the UK top 50, with Restaurant Martin Wishart in Leith highest placed at 14.
Elizabeth Carter, editor of The Good Food Guide, said: "Scotland has a wealth of top restaurants."
The guide is complied by Which?, the leading independent consumer information organisation.
The new Scottish entries in the guide are: The Dogs, Edinburgh; The Unicorn, Kincardine; The Boat House, South Queensferry; The Doll's House, and Vine Leaf, St Andrews; The Apron Stage, Stanley; and The Anglers Inn and Deans @ Let's Eat, Perth.
The UK top 50 restaurants include Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles, Auchterarder (27); The Creel, St Margaret's Hope (38); and The Kitchin, Edinburgh (44).
