A man arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 73-year-old man has been released from his bail conditions without charge.

Richard Clarke, of Cranley Green Road in Eye, Suffolk, was found in his driveway on 22 August with severe head injuries. He died later in hospital.

A man, 43, was arrested on suspicion of murder the same day and bailed to return to police at regular intervals.

He has now been released from his bail conditions, police said.

Officers have renewed their appeal for information about the death.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Cranley Green Road area between the evening of 21 August and the morning of 22 August.

Officers are particularly keen to trace anyone who drove along the road towards Occold between 0500 and 0730 GMT on 22 August.
