Two men deny father's club murder

Two men have pleaded not guilty to murdering a father-of-two who died after an incident at a nightclub.

Darren Griffiths, 41, of Harmer Hill, near Shrewsbury, died in hospital after suffering injuries at the Liquid and Diva nightclub in June.

Neil Stokes, 22, of Shrewsbury, and Daryl Brown, 32, of Wellington, pleaded not guilty to murder at Stafford Crown Court.

Their trial will be heard at Birmingham Crown Court from 14 April, 2010.

Mr Stokes, of Spring Gardens, and Mr Brown, of Severn Drive, were remanded in custody.
