A murder investigation has started into the death of a 19-year-old man found with serious head injuries in a Liverpool street.
Mohamed Abdul-Kadir was discovered at the back of flats on Princes Road in Toxteth on Tuesday evening.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital and was treated at Walton Neurological Centre, but died on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination revealed he died as a result of a severe head injury.
Detectives are continuing to try to piece together how he was injured.
The area was sealed for a forensic examination and house-to-house inquiries took place on 26 January.
Merseyside Police has appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
