Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man who was shot dead in west London.
Officers found Daniel Omari Smith, 22, an electrician from Paddington, near the southern end of Harrow Road just after 0015 BST on Saturday.
He was treated at the scene but died from his injuries. Police had said motive for the killing was a mystery.
Two 21-year-old men arrested on Monday afternoon in connection with the murder remain in police custody.
Lines of inquiry are believed to include that he was shot after an earlier road rage incident or he was mistaken for someone else.
Mr Smith, who lived with his mother and two sisters, had been out with a friend before stopping at a KFC in Harrow Road, Paddington, on his way home.
Eyewitnesses said he was shot as he walked back to his car. He staggered back into the takeaway but collapsed and died later in hospital.
Police have appealed for witnesses and said they do not know if the gunman was in a vehicle or on foot.
Det Ch Insp John Crossley said: "He was a young working man and from a loving family.
"They are devastated by what has happened."
