Nearly 30 people are to lose their jobs at a Devon theatre.
It was announced in February that the struggling Northcott Theatre in Exeter was being put into administration.
The scheduled spring programme continued, but there are now no shows until June and the administrators said staff costs must be cut.
Ian Walker from Begbies Traynor said the decision had been taken "with great regret" to make 27 part-time and casual staff redundant.
He said the move was in response to the absence of revenue to support the theatre's costs.
The Northcott was built in the late 1960s on the University of Exeter's Streatham Campus, but it is a separate organisation with its own board of trustees.
