At least 10 school children have been killed and many more injured in a fire at a hostel in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, officials say.
The fire broke out late on Wednesday in the remote town of Palin, 260km (161 miles) north of state capital Itanagar.
It is thought to have started when children used candles to light oil lamps during an overnight power cut.
Local people helped put out the fire and took the injured, some of whom were badly burned, to a nearby hospital.
