Newsnight reports on consumer fraud

Newsnight's investigation into possible weaknesses in the Chip and Pin system is the latest in a long line of reports into consumer fraud.

Susan Watts spoke to a team from Cambridge who claimed they had uncovered ways that fraudsters could exploit flaws in the system used in most High Street stores.


Some police forces have had no cases of credit card fraud referred to them by banks since new rules were introduced. Martin Shankleman reports. (2007)
