Isle of Man hospital reopens after norovirus outbreak

5 March 10 13:16 GMT

An Isle of Man hospital has fully reopened after an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.

Symptoms of norovirus, including diarrhoea and vomiting, were reported at Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital (RDCH) last month.

The Manx Department of Health and Social Security closed the hospital to new admissions and also closed some wards after the outbreak was reported.

All wards have now reopened and new admissions are being accepted.
