Nine dead in Kashmir shootings
At least nine people have been killed in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir in further attacks by suspected Muslim separatist gunmen.
Four of the killings were in Poonch district where -- despite a curfew -- an angry crowd later attacked government offices.
The BBC Delhi correspondent says that with a strong Indian military presence in the Kashmir Valley many of the recent wave of attacks on Hindus have taken place in remote areas where they are a minority.
Many Hindus have fled their homes.
Indian security officials say the militants are trained and based in Pakistan -- which denies the charge -- and many are now Pakistani, Afghan or even Arab.
