The leader of the nationalist Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), Vojislav Kostunica, criticised the Kosovo peace plan, but said there was "no other way out" than to accept this "capitulation by the state".
Both reactions were reported by the independent news agency Beta.
The Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO), quoted by Montenegrin radio, said the peace accord had to be observed by everyone, even if "some extremists in the Nato alliance and other extremists, including those at home, who want to see the destruction of Serbia and the killing of our people continue", did not want any agreement to succeed.
Nato 'scheme'

The leader of the ultranationalist Serbian Radical Party, Vojislav Seselj, in a Beta report, rejected the "extremely unfavourable" peace plan.
He said it was part of a Nato scheme to take over further parts of Yugoslavia, such as Montenegro or the northern province of Vojvodina
The state news agency Tanjug said Nato was "persistently and unscrupulously" continuing the bombing to change its role from a defensive pact to a provider of military 'services' to continue implementing US-European policies by force.
Tanjug said the Alliance had also used the war to test new weapons systems.
Serb plans for Kosovo
The Yugoslav authorities are also looking forward to the postwar period in Kosovo, which they do not acknowledge would be under any other control than that of Serbia.
Thus Tanjug reports two meetings, one between the Serbian Justice Minister and Kosovo prosecutors and judges, and another between the main Serbian administrator in the province, Zoran Andjelkovic, and local businesspeople.
The former meeting dealt with "future judicial activities in Kosovo and Metohija" and the latter was "to discuss reconstruction, repair and the adaptation of facilities damaged in the round-the-clock Nato bombing of Yugoslavia", Tanjug reported.
KLA 'success'
The rebel Kosovo Liberation Army used its outlets to publicise what it said were its successes in fierce fighting with the Yugoslav Army.
The Kosovapress Website said the KLA had killed some 200 Serbian soldiers in fighting on Sunday and Monday.
The KLA said it captured a truck filled with ammunition and other military equipment, and killed three Serb police officers during fierce fighting in western Kosovo.
The Radio21 web site said the rebel army had successfully attacked Serbian forces burning Albanian homes in Stimlje in southern Kosovo.
Kosovapress also published two cartoons which expressed its scepticism over Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic's intentions of adhering to the Kosovo peace agreement.
