Internet Lothario meets his match

Clive Worth and Angela England A former miner who claims to have dated hundreds of women he met on internet sites says he has finally found love.

Clive Worth, 57, from Pontyates near Llanelli, was removed from the books of one agency after complaints from other customers that he "lacked commitment".

But since February he has been seeing just one woman - Angela England, 61, from Llanddewi-Brefi in Ceredigion.

He said what he loves about her is she agrees with everything he says, while she said he was "the perfect gent".

They first made contact on an internet dating site in January.

"It started off as an ordinary date, but straight away there was something more to her than the hundreds of other woman I had met," said Mr Worth.

"We soon got in the swing of chatting and I have to say what I like about Angela is she says yes to everything I say.

"What won me over was she said she did not mind if I still dated other women.

"I've always said it's like baking a cake - you've got to get the right ingredients"

"For a woman to let you do that showed that she really liked me - I had a few dates lined up but I could just not go ahead.

"Slowly it crept up on me that I preferred Angela - I told her then I did not want to date anyone else.

"Amazingly we've got so much in common - I've always said it's like baking a cake - you've got to get the right ingredients."

In 2004 Mr Worth was banned by one of the UK's biggest internet dating agencies.

They said they had put him in touch with 119 women but some had complained that he "lacked commitment".

The new couple's shared interests include long early morning walks and scrabble.

Mr Worth added: "Both of us like music of the 1960s - what I found about the young girls I met is they don't remember the hits by the Beatles.

"He's so loving and caring - affection is what I have always wanted"

"Even though I've had hundreds of dates, deep down inside I was always hoping I would find the one.

"I still get emails off other women - I don't want to upset them by telling them I've found somebody."

Ms England said she took to Mr Worth as soon as they made contact.

"He's so loving and caring - affection is what I have always wanted," she said.

"We just hit it off - he is a proper gent."

She is now in the process of moving from her home in mid Wales to a bungalow less than a mile from Mr Worth's house in the same village.

"It's got to be a match made in heaven," added Mr Worth, who has also had a book published about his internet dating experiences.

"This Valentine's Day I gave Angela her first Valentine's card at the age of 61 and at Easter she gave me my first Easter egg."
