Safety cordon follows road crash

A safety cordon was set up following a road crash near Bridgend, after a gas pressure valve was hit.

South Wales Fire Service said one car was involved near Bryncethin on Monday morning.

South Wales Police said that the A4061 Blackmill Road has been closed in both directions near Cefn Carfan Road.

There are no details of any evacuations. British Gas said a pressure valve was hit but it did not affect supplies to homes.
