Five BNP men arrested in Swansea

Five British National Party (BNP) "activists" have been arrested and bailed on suspicion of committing public order offences in Swansea.

Police said the men were taken into custody at 1117 BST on Sunday in the Bonymaen area of the city.

The BNP's website described the men as a "leafleting team" that was "lawfully campaigning" in Swansea.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said they had been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
