Police appeal over sexual assault

Gerome Campbell

Police want to speak to a teenager in connection with a serious sexual assault on a woman.

Officers are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 19-year-old Gerome Campbell, who has lived in a number of addresses across Cardiff.

He is described as black, with short, black curly hair, 6ft 2in (1.88m) and of slim build.

Police say they are investigating a serious sexual assault at an address in Grangetown, Cardiff, on 23 March 2009.

The teenager, who has a London accent, is known to have contacts in the Ely area of Cardiff and also in Bridgend.

Anybody with information is asked to contact Det Con Allan James at Cardiff Bay CID on 029 2057 1581 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
