Murder arrest over body in house

Police at the scene of the death in Blackwood A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man's body was found at a house in the Cefn Fforest area of Blackwood in Caerphilly county.

It is believed John Brian Stokes, 43, from the Hengoed area, who was found in a property in Bedwellty Road, died on Saturday night.

Gwent Police have arrested a 45-year-old man and are carrying out searches of a property.

There was a high police presence on Sunday morning in the area.
