Four murder charges on A&E death

Man believed to be Tran Nguyen also known as Quang Duong Tran Four men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a Vietnamese man who was left at a hospital before he died.

Tran Nguyen, 44, was carried into the casualty department of Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport on 20 November.

Thanh Van Le, 30, Cong Van Le, 47, Khai Van Tran, 31, Son Van Nhu, 33, all from Feltham, Hounslow, confirmed their details through an interpreter.

They are accused of murder between 15 - 21 November, and were remanded in custody by Newport magistrates.

A preliminary hearing has been set for 19 January at Newport Crown Court.

No application for bail was made, but the prosecution asked for them to be remanded in custody.
