Woman killed in house blaze named

Scene of the fire Police have named a 47-year-old woman who died in a house fire in north Wales on Monday as Anne Macdonald.

Ms Macdonald's body was found in a house in Dolgarrog, near Llanrwst in Conwy, after the fire service was called to a blaze in the early hours.

They discovered her in a back bedroom, where she was pronounced dead.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. North Wales Fire Service said no smoke alarm was fitted at the property.
