Actor on OAP hit-and-run charge

Llandudno magistrates court An actor has been charged following a road accident in which a pensioner, 83, broke his leg as he walked his dog.

Trefor Selway, a radio, stage and screen actor, was questioned after the crash in Tyn y Groes in the Conwy Valley last December.

Mr Selway, a former headteacher, has been charged with failing to stop following a collision and failing to report a collision.

He will appear in court at Llandudno on 22 March.
