Woman charged with murdering girl

A woman has been charged with the murder of a four-year-old girl from Connah's Quay in Flintshire.

Joanne Hill, 31, also from Connah's Quay, is due to appear before Chester Magistrates at 0945 GMT on Thursday.

Police officers have been conducting house-to-house inquiries around an address in Goya Close, a cul-de-sac in the town.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said no further details were available.
