Woman denies 4x4 attack on her ex

A 38-year-old Denbighshire woman has denied running over her ex-boyfriend in a four-wheel drive vehicle.

Claire Patterson, of Bryneglwys, is accused of knocking Roy Ringwood, 49, off his bicycle and running over his leg in Neston, Cheshire, in April.

At Chester Crown Court Ms Patterson denied four offences, including GBH with intent and dangerous driving.

She is also accused of stealing his wallet and mobile phone. She was bailed for a trial due to start on 9 October.
