Bridge installed on cycle route

Bicycle lane

A bridge which forms part of a new cycle route is to be lifted into place overnight.

The foot and cycle bridge will sit alongside the road bridge over the railway at Ceg y Ffordd, Prestatyn, in Denbighshire.

In addition to making the route safer for cyclists, it aims to improve a path for children walking to school.

The project forms part of a cycle route that will eventually extend from the A548 to Meliden.

The road bridge will be closed on Saturday night while the new bridge is put in place.
