A road safety roadshow is being held in memory of a man who died while racing his friend at up to 95mph.
David Wares, 22, was killed instantly in the crash in August 2008, near his home in Prestatyn, Denbighshire.
His friend, David Bexon, 20, was later given two years, nine months in youth custody for his role in the crash, after he admitted dangerous driving.
The roadshow at Graig Park Hotel and County Club, Meliden, aims to highlight the importance of safer driving.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is hosting the event, which includes representatives from North Wales Police, the Welsh ambulance service and Pass Plus Cymru, an assembly-backed scheme to encourage drivers aged 17-25 to develop their skills behind the wheel.
Denbighshire's road safety team has already produced a lavish anti-speed film based on David Wares' death.
It features a song written by close friend Katie Benbow and includes a video shoot featuring Ms Benbow and other friends of Mr Wares.
The anti-speed video has been posted onto the YouTube website, and has been backed by Mr Wares' mother, Edwina.
'Driving carelessly'
Mr Wares, a property management student at Liverpool John Moores University, was returning home from work and had nearly reached the turning for his home when the collision occurred.
His car struck an oncoming Fiat Punto containing five people but none of them was hurt.
Saturday's roadshow runs from 1030 BST to 1630 BST.
Nigel Edwards, from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We hope that the event will allow us to engage with drivers, especially younger ones and talk to them about the importance of safer driving and the consequences of driving carelessly or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs."
