Teenage cyclist hurt in collision

The B5429

A teenage cyclist was seriously injured and his pillion rider hurt when they were in collision with a car on a country road in north Wales.

The 15-year-old local boy was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital on the B5429 between Tremeirchion and Bodfari in Denbighshire.

He has since been transferred to a hospital in Manchester.

The girl pillion passenger suffered minor injuries in the incident at around 1415 GMT on Saturday.

The motorist, who stopped at the scene, was not hurt

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses.
