Police are hunting for two armed raiders who shot a shop assistant with an air rifle during a robbery in a suburb of Cardiff.
The 25-year-old worker was hit by a pellet when the pair struck at the Spar store in Cyncoed on Monday night.
He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, and treated for a wound to his hand.
Both suspects are described as white, around 6ft (1.83m), and tall and wearing hooded tops and puffa jackets.
The shop was closed on Tuesday while forensics teams examined the scene and officers checked CCTV footage and conducted house-to-house inquiries.

The robbers demanded money from the shop worker but he refused and they left without any cash but stole a bottle of vodka.
Police are keen to trace a dark coloured Ford Orion hatchback car which was near the scene at the time of the robbery.
It is thought the first part of vehicle's registration number is C629 or C269 and that the last letter of the second part is H.
Detective Inspector Peter Thomas, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was obviously a frightening experience for those involved and I wish to reassure the community we are doing all we can to catch those responsible."
Scarf
The first suspect was described as in his early 20s, with a pale round chubby face, a "young" voice and a Cardiff accent.
He was wearing a baby blue hooded top under a puffa jacket, and a black-and-white striped scarf around his face.
The second suspect was also wearing a dark scarf around his face and a dark hooded top under a puffa jacket.
