Funerals of OAPs after collision

The funerals are to be held this week of two elderly women who died after a collision with a car.

The service for Sylvia Softley, aged 73, will be on Thursday at Panteg, Torfaen, and for Doreen Morgan, 74, on Friday at Cwmbran.

The woman died on 3 October after the collision in the Oakfield area of Cwmbran.

The 81-year-old driver arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving has been granted bail.

Ms Morgan died shortly after the crash and her friend died later the same day. The driver was not injured.
