Location map

A woman was the victim of a serious sex attack in Pembrokeshire early on Sunday, say Dyfed-Powys Police.

The incident happened at 0220 BST in Pembroke in an alleyway off Main Street opposite Brown's Cafe and leading to the Mill Pond.

Meanwhile, North Wales Police are investigating a sex attack at Rhos-on-Sea, Conwy in the early hours. More details are expected later.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to either incident to come forward.

Officers cordoned off an area close to Colwyn Bay cricket club after an assault was reported by a woman in her 20s.

On the Pembrokeshire attack, Dyfed-Powys Police Officers said they want anyone who was in the area, either on foot or in a vehicle at around the time, to come forward.
