The parents of an 18-year-old man who died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a large boulder, have described him as "fun-loving".
Keith David from Boverton in the Vale of Glamorgan was killed in a field near Gileston beach, St Athan at around 1400 BST on Sunday.
Police said they did not believe any other vehicles were involved but are appealing for witnesses.
Mr David, an apprentice plasterer, liked playing rugby and fishing.
His parents said: "Keith was a fun-loving and hard-working son who lived life to the full.
"He will be greatly missed by both family and friends."
He was also a keen member of the 2nd Llantwit Major Boys Brigade, they added.
