OAP pair's death 'not suspicious'

Police say they are no longer treating the deaths of an elderly man and woman in Monmouthshire as suspicious

The bodies of Thomas Charles Hughes, 82, and Nancie Aluine Hughes, 86, were discovered at an address in Frogmore Street, Abergavenny on Sunday.

Paramedics were called there by the ambulance service at around 1530 BST. They then called in Gwent Police.

Officers had said the deaths could be suspicious but, after investigating, they say they are not.

They added they are not looking for anyone in connection with the deaths.
