Missing father and son are found

A father and his nine-year-old son have been found safe and well after going missing overnight.

Coastguard and mountain rescue teams had launched a search for Andrew Williams, 40, of Peniel, Carmarthen, and David Connor Williams.

They had last been seen in New Quay, Ceredigion, at 2120 BST on Sunday.

Mr Williams had been visiting his son, known as Connor and who lives with his mother. Dyfed-Powys Police had said they were concerned for their safety.

Police had earlier found Mr Williams's vehicle, which they said suggested the pair were in the area.

Coastguard teams were searching for the pair all night, and mountain rescue teams were also called in.
