Appeal after serious sex assault

Detectives are appealing for information after the serious sexual assault on a woman in Cwmbran in Torfaen.

The incident happened at around 2330 BST on Saturday in Henllys Way in the town, according to Gwent Police.

They said the victim, who is white and in her 20s, was believed to have been assaulted by a white man.

He is described as 6ft, of large build, with a bald or shaved head and wearing dark clothing. His age is unknown.

An incident room has been set up at Cwmbran Station.
