Indian restaurant worker arrests

The men aged between 21 and 50 were caught by immigration officers after working at the Pengam Indian Cuisine restaurant in Pengam near Blackwood.

The men are believed to be from India and Bangladesh and it is expected they will be deported from the UK.

The owner of the restaurant is due to receive a formal warning for employing illegal workers.

Plane makes an emergency landing

An airliner had to make an emergency landing at Cardiff International Airport after a man on board suffered a medical problem.

The Boeing 737 had been travelling from London to Dublin when it was forced to land on Monday morning.

An airport spokesman said the passenger and his daughter left the plane and were taken by ambulance to hospital in Bridgend.

The man's condition is not known. The plane continued its journey to Dublin.

Chemical spill at Airbus factory

A chemical spill at the Airbus factory at Broughton, Flintshire, has been dealt with by firefighters.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said six crews were involved in handling the incident.

It was reported at 0430 GMT on Saturday by firefighters based at the plant, which employs 7,000.

The area was evacuated, but no members of the public were involved. The fire service said the spillage had now been cleared up.
