Four gold discs awarded to Welsh singer Charlotte Church have been stolen from a hotel belonging to her family.
Burglars took the awards off the wall of the Church Hotel in Cathedral Road, Cardiff, in a break-in on Sunday night.
A fifth disc was left untouched as police believe the culprits fled after being disturbed.
Police are waiting for the 19-year-old Brit Award-nominated star to give a detailed description of the discs.
Church's mother Maria and stepfather James took over the guesthouse, formerly trading as the Briars Hotel, in 2003.
No-one was available for comment at the Church Hotel.

Acting Det Insp Dorian Lloyd said: "The family don't know exactly what discs they are at the moment.
"Charlotte is the only person who knows exactly what they are and we are waiting for a detailed description from her.
"These items have sentimental value for obvious reasons and are pretty unique."
Despite the loss of these discs, the singer may be able to add to her awards haul shortly.
She has been nominated for a Brit Award in the best British female category.
She will be competing against Kate Bush, Katie Melua, KT Tunstall and Natasha Bedingfield for the trophy at the ceremony on 15 February.
