Cold snap brings road dangers
Motorists are being warned not to drive unless they have to, as icy conditions continue to affect roads across Wales.
On Friday morning, the Met Office issued a warning of further snow showers and icy roads across the whole of Wales.
Drivers are being warned that as temperatures plummet to as low as six degrees Celsius, road conditions will be treacherous.
There are speed restrictions on parts of the M4 motorway in south Wales due to snow and fog.
All major roads are open, with the exception of the A470 road across the Crimea Pass in Gwynedd in north Wales.
Cardiff airport passengers faced delays and diversions because of the bad weather.
Several of the 23 flights scheduled for Friday were changed, with some passengers on return trips being diverted to Bristol or Birmingham.
The problem was caused by planes arriving late in the UK and losing their Cardiff time-slot. Cardiff is also accepting incoming flights bound for other airports.
A spokesman said no planes had actually been cancelled and delays were because of bad weather or technical problems.
Public services have also been hit with refuse collections suspended in Cardiff and Rhondda Cynon Taff.
