Police discover cannabis factory

Tayside Police have discovered a cannabis farm while raiding a house in Perthshire.

Detectives searching the property in Jessie Street, Blairgowrie, discovered 380 cannabis plants.

A police spokesman said it was believed the plants had a street value of about £95,000.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of the plants and is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.
