Warnings of heavy rain and floods

A flood watch has been issued for rivers in the Stirling and Argyll areas, along with Loch Lomond.

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) said heavy and thundery showers were expected.

Meanwhile, the Met Office has warned of heavy and thundery rain bursts in Argyll and Bute, the Highlands, Perth and Kinross and Stirling.

It warned that up to 30mm of rain could fall in some areas over a short period of time.
