Prosecutor on drink-drive charge

A Scottish prosecutor has found herself in court charged with drinking and driving.

Depute fiscal Anne Hart, 38, from Dundee, appeared in the dock after failing a road-side breath test when pulled over by police on Monday night.

Ms Hart pled not guilty when she appeared at Arbroath Sheriff Court, where she has worked.

She is accused of driving on Ferry Road, Monifieth, with a breath alcohol level of 92mgs.

She was ordained to appear at a trial later in the year.
