The latest school to be built as part of Stirling Council's £100m public private partnership deal has been officially opened.
The new Wallace High School will cater for up to 1,200 pupils and features a 25-metre swimming pool and games hall.
The building was opened by Education Secretary Fiona Hyslop and Celtic footballer Gary Caldwell, who attended Wallace High from 1994-98.
The school will be maintained by contractor FES FM under a 31-year deal.
The building features a rooftop green space which will be used for science and environmental projects as well as the school's eco-club.
An additional support needs unit has also been created for children with severe and complex needs within mainstream education.
Ms Hyslop said: "It is great to see first-hand the work that authorities are carrying out in creating a school estate which is fit for purpose.
"Wallace High School is an excellent example of what can be delivered in combining the needs of teachers and pupils with those of the local community, which will also enjoy the sports, leisure and learning facilities in this state-of-the-art development."
