Appeal to trace missing crewman

Bard Folland

Police in Dundee are trying to trace a foreign seaman who has gone missing from his vessel.

Bard Folland, 27, was last seen leaving the vessel at City Harbour, Dundee, at 2300 BST on Friday.

He was described as 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, wearing a white T-shirt, grey hat, jeans and light trainers.

Mr Folland had been in the Ship Inn bar and Bombay Joes restaurant in Broughty Ferry before returning to his ship and then going missing.

Tayside Police have appealed for information.

A spokesman said Mr Folland was also known to frequent the All Stars Sports Bar and Ticketty Boos in Dundee.
