Armed police have ended a three-day siege at an address in Falkirk.
Officers from Central Scotland Police had been called to the property in Hallglen Terrace, Glen Village, on Friday amid reports of a stand-off.
They took a 45-year-old man, who had been barricaded inside the property, into custody at about lunchtime.
Superintendent Robbie McGregor, Falkirk area commander, said: "Our primary concern at all times has been the safety of the public."
Residents had been evacuated from their homes and the street cordoned off on Friday, although there had been a police presence within the vicinity of the property since Thursday evening.
