Two cannabis factories have been discovered by police in Tayside in the last two days.
The force said more than 100 plants were found at a house in Dundee's Sherbrook Crescent on Monday.
The discovery follows another in Findowrie Street in Fintry on Sunday where 100 plant were also found.
No arrests have been made in relation to either operation. Police said an electrician had been brought in to cut the power supply in both properties.
Det Sgt Adrian Robertson said the cultivation was discovered after a call from a member of the public.
Strong odours
He said: "It's very satisfying that this person was suspicious of what was going on in their neighbourhood and acted upon it.
"There's little doubt that they spotted the warning signs following recent publicity about so-called cannabis factories."
The force said such operation come with inherent danger to neighbouring properties because those responsible often interfere with electrical supplies and have hoses running alongside electricity cables.
They appealed for residents to be on the look out for properties where windows are permanently covered and soil is seen being taken into the property or there is strong odours coming from the house.
