Men for court following robberies

A pair of men are due in court in connection with two armed robberies in the Falkirk area.

The incidents happened at the Convenience Store, on Dock Street, Carronshore, at about 0930 BST and the Mini Market on Falkirk's Greenbank Court at about 1000 BST on Thursday.

The men, aged 23 and 29, are due to make an appearance from custody at Falkirk Sheriff Court.

Detectives have appealed for witnesses to the incidents to come forward.
