Drink campaign 'success' claims
Police have seized hundreds of litres of alcohol and caught shopkeepers selling drink to under-18s during a crackdown across Central Scotland.
The three-week operation aimed to tackle the problem of drink-fuelled crime across the area.
A total of 463 litres of alcohol was confiscated as part of tough action.
Hundreds of revellers attending Stirling's Fubar nightclub on Saturday were also searched for weapons using an airport-style metal detector.
More than 1,000 people were subject to voluntary searches at the nightclub, with no weapons found.
The operation found three off-sale premises in the Falkirk area and one in Clackmannanshire which had been selling alcohol to underage drinkers.
